• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Location: Jacksonville, FL 32216 (Northeast Florida)
• Position: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) / Perioperative RN
• Shift: 10-hour days (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-call: 6 call shifts per 4-week schedule; weekends on-call
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 in the OR
• Documentation System: Meditech EMR
• Dress Code: Hospital scrubs provided

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact or state RN license as applicable)
• BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• TNCC or TCAR certification (submit with application)
• Minimum 1 year of recent operating room (OR) nursing experience
• Orthopedic and trauma orthopedic OR experience required
• Experience with procedures such as arthroscopies, total joint replacements, and ortho trauma cases
• Previous experience with Meditech or similar electronic medical record systems preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative patient care in the operating room with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Assist with orthopedic and trauma procedures, including arthroscopies and total joint replacements
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, surgical instrumentation, and OR supplies
• Utilize Meditech for accurate, timely documentation and handoffs
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergent surgical cases as scheduled
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety protocols, and infection control standards
