Job Description

• The RN will plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care in one unit on a particular shift, ensuring continuity of care and maintaining satisfactory relations with other departments.
• Responsibilities include:

  • Using Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Allscripts Paragon.
  • Reading vital signs and providing injections/vaccinations.
  • Floating to different units as needed.
  • Managing care for 6 patients with 2 LMA to assist on each floor.
  • Participating in education, record maintenance, and policy upgrades.

Orientation

• 4 to 6 week orientation before transitioning to the floor.

Requirements

• Experience: Must have experience with EMR.
• Licensure: Must hold a current NH license (or compact) and certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Education: ASN accepted; BSN preferred.
• Certifications: PALS and Tele Strip Certification preferred.
• New Graduates: Considered with a temporary or active NH license.
