Job Description

The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for:

• Evaluating patients' physical conditions and needs.
• Designing and implementing corrective treatment plans based on physical therapy principles.
• Continuously assessing patient progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining accurate and timely medical and business records.
• Supervising clinical activities of Physical Therapy assistants and at least one affiliating student per year.
• Participating in departmental quality improvement activities, community outreach, and program development.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (preferred).
• Experience: Previous experience in acute care (preferred, but entry-level is acceptable).
• Licensure: State of Vermont license required (temporary license acceptable on entry).
• Certifications: CPR certification required.
• References: At least 2 recent supervisory references required.
