OR Tech - CV Travel Position

Contract Length: 6 weeks


Job Details

  • Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician (CV OR Tech)
  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Schedule: Rotating Day/Evening shifts, floating required, call as needed, weekends as needed
  • Holidays: Must work 2 out of 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Day)
  • Orientation: Bi-weekly on Mondays
  • Work Days: Monday through Sunday, no block schedules

Requirements

  • Current AHA BLS certification
  • NBSTSA certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of OR experience
  • Prior travel experience required
  • Experience in a large, teaching hospital required
  • Experience working in a Level 1 trauma center within the last year, with at least 1 year of total work experience
  • Experience as a CV Tech in single scrub capacity for CT cases
  • Scrub experience required with floating within OR specialties (general, ortho, neuro, ENT, etc.)

Additional Information

  • Must have license on file at time of submission
  • IVS to offer
  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
  • Complete work history required (including bed count, EMR, facility type)
  • Reliable transportation required; public transportation is not accessible
  • Personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended
  • Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November through April

Location Notes

  • Position is at a large teaching hospital with Level 1 trauma designation
  • Distance pay tiers based on mileage radius (not driving distance)
