Travel RN - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Thornton, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D/707)
Beds: 14 LDRPs (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum rooms) and 2 ORs
Staffing: Approximately 60 staff members
Shift Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge RN, 2-3 Labor & Delivery RNs, 2-3 Postpartum RNs, plus CNAs and sitters
- Night Shift: Similar staffing as day shift
Patient Ratios:
- Labor & Delivery: 1:1 to 1:2 max
- Postpartum: 3:1 (per AWHONN guidelines)
Equipment: Beacon system
EMR Systems: CPN and Meditech

Required Skills

Labor and delivery experience (mandatory)
Postpartum experience (mandatory)

Preferred Skills

Experience in LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) care

Cesarean sections (C-sections)
Vaginal assisted deliveries
Dilation and Curettage (D&C) procedures
