Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position

Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel

Position Summary

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians.
• Provide patient care while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by Radiologist/Cardiologist.

Schedule & Requirements

• Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Start Date: 9/22/2025
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• On Call Requirement: 10 out of 12 days per month (includes weekends)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program

Certifications/Licenses (Required)

• ARRT certification applicable to cardiac or vascular intervention (CV, CI, or VI) or RCIS certification
• New Mexico State licensure
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

Experience

• Minimum 1 year radiologic experience required
• Preferred: 1 year interventional or cath lab experience
• Must have IR lab experience

Skills

• Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment, neurological and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology, and basic computer skills
• Preferred knowledge of interventional procedures in Cardiology and Radiology
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English

• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, various body fluids, and ionizing radiation
• Clean, well-lighted, ventilated, smoke-free environment
• Subject to stressful professional relationships
• Flexible working hours due to unexpected schedule changes and emergencies
• Physical ability to lift, position, push, and/or transfer patients and equipment over 50 lbs
