Travel RN Opportunity – Richmond, Virginia

Position Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 24
Patient Ratios: 5-6 patients per nurse
Staffing:
- 2 Patient Care Technicians (PCT) per shift
- 1 Unit Secretary (US) during day shift
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: 4 weekend days per contract (weekend nights are Saturday and Sunday)
Floating Policy: As needed
Patient Experience Initiatives:
- Whiteboards
- Bedside Shift Report
- Hourly Safety Rounds
- Use of Key Words

Unit Procedures and Skills

Requested Skill Set: Medical/Surgical background preferred
Procedures Performed: Chemotherapy administration
Certifications Required: None beyond standard licensure
Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
Licenses: Registered Nurse License

Dress Code

Navy Blue uniform required
