Number of Beds: 45
Number of Staff: 102
Staffing (Day Shift): 1 Charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 Sitters
Staffing (Night Shift): 1 Charge, 1 Navigator, 7 RNs, 1 Paramedic, 1 Nurse Tech, 1 Unit Secretary
Patient Ratios: 4:1
Equipment: GE Monitors & EKGs, Life Pak Monitors, Pyxis Medication Dispensing System
EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills & Procedures

Must Have:
- Ultrasound Guided IV Placement
Typical Procedures Performed:
- Reduction/Splint
- Chest Tube Placement
- Accessing Port-a-Cath
- Blood Product Administration
- Intubation

Certifications Required

TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)

Experience Requirements

Years of Experience in Specialty: 1 year
Prior Travel Experience: Not required

Work Schedule & Environment

Shift: Day and Night shifts available
Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
- Day shift weekends: Saturday & Sunday day shifts
- Night shift weekends: Friday & Saturday night shifts
Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs
Personality Fit: Respectful, team-oriented, stays calm under pressure
