Travel RN Opportunity - Emergency Department

Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Emergency Department (ED)
Beds: 14 ED beds, 6 Observation beds, 5 VTA beds
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 CNC, 4 RNs, 1 Medic, 1 Tech/UC
- Night Shift: 1 CNC, 4 RNs, 1 Medic, 1 Tech/UC
Patient Ratios: Typically 4:1, can extend to 6:1
Equipment: Monitors, pumps, dynamap, EKG, rapid infuser, ultrasound, etc.
EMR System: Meditech 5.6
Floating Areas: Main campus and Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED)

Required Certifications & Licenses

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
NIH Certification
Active Registered Nurse License

Preferred Skills

Meditech experience (preferred)
ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Schedule includes every other weekend; no on-call required
