Location: Weatherford, Texas
Unit: Mom Baby (10 beds)
Floor: 1st, Main Building

Job Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Shift Staffing:

  • Day Shift: Minimum 2 RNs, up to 3 depending on patient acuity
  • Night Shift: Minimum 2 RNs, up to 3 depending on patient acuity
• Patient Ratios: 1:3 couplets
• EMR Systems: CPN, Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years in specialty (higher value between 1 and 2 years applied)
• Certifications: BLS
• Licenses: Registered Nurse License
• Skills:

  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • Experience catching babies during deliveries (both Cesarean Section and Spontaneous Vaginal Delivery)

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates with additional relevant skills will be considered first

Typical Procedures

• Catching babies during deliveries (CS and SVD)
• Routine postpartum care
• Circumcision
• Care for some GYN post-op patients
