Job Opportunity: Cardiopulmonary Technician

Location: Bridgeport, Connecticut
Facility: St Vincent's Medical Center
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Job Description

Work in a very busy Electrophysiology (EP) lab performing complex ablations using Carto and Ensite systems, including PFA technology.
Involves working with implanted devices such as pacemakers and loop recorders.
Unit size: 2 EP labs.
Typical case load: 2-6 cases per day across two rooms.
Staffing ratios: 2 techs and 1-2 RNs per case, depending on case complexity.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of electrophysiology experience OR 3+ years of interventional experience.
EP Lab experienced technician with either:
- Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) background and RCES certification, OR
- Interventional technologist background with ARRT certification.

Shift Details

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
No call, no weekends

This position is ideal for healthcare workers with EP lab experience looking for a short-term contract in a high-volume, technologically advanced environment.
