Job Details

• Schedule: Days, Monday to Friday
• Shift Length: 8-10 hours (minimum 32 hours/week)
• Shift Start: No earlier than 7:30 AM
• Shift End: No later than 6:00 PM
• Start Dates Available: 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/6
• Patient Population: Pediatric outpatient with a wide variety of diagnoses
• Required Skills: Acute care, outpatient clinic, pediatrics
• EPIC experience preferred
• Candidate’s primary residence must be more than 25 miles from the facility

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA BLS certification required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – AHA required
• Other certifications may apply depending on role and setting

Licensure & Competencies

• State License primary source verification required (except certain non-clinical or tech roles)
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exams required for applicable professions, updated annually
• Competency exams required as applicable by profession, updated annually

Facility Specific Requirements

• Photo for badge (grey background, no selfies, JPG format)
• Dress code review required prior to start
• Education modules completed during orientation (approx. 16 hours)
• Confidentiality agreement must be signed prior to start
• COVID-19 policies and vaccination/exemption forms apply
• Badge must be returned on last day of assignment

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask (N95) required
• Tdap vaccination required (no religious declinations accepted)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray per MN state guidelines
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) proof of immunity or vaccination required (time sensitive)
• Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination accepted
• Varicella immunity proof required
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required annually (mask required if declined)
• COVID-19 vaccination preferred; medical/religious exemptions accepted
• Drug testing not required for client clearance but must be within 1 year if done

Background & Screening

• Criminal background check within 1 year of start (7-year search, SS trace, counties, sex offender, nationwide)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG excluded provider checks required
• Two references from recent employers within 2 years required (for non-clinical roles)
• Skills checklist required for all clinical candidates
• Education verification required (not for CNAs)
• Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint clearance required for all agency employees (no start with fingerprints pending)
• Work history verification required for non-clinical candidates (3 years)

Important Notes

• Candidates must complete Minnesota DHS NetStudy Questionnaire immediately after signing contract for fingerprinting clearance
• Fingerprinting must be completed within 2 weeks of registration
• Candidates not within driving distance of a livescan location must travel to complete fingerprinting before assignment start
• COVID-19 booster testing and masking policies apply for LTC candidates without booster
