Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position
Location: Derry, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Travel
Facility & Unit Information
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
- Number of Beds: 86
- Equipment: GE
- Documentation System: Expanse
- Scheduling: 36-40 hours per week
- Floating Policy: May float to ER to assist during surges
- Patient Experience Requirements:
- 3 years Cath Lab experience OR
- 2 years in a high volume Cath Lab
- Call Schedule: STEMI PCI Program with approximately 10-15 days of call, including 1-2 weekends (staffing dependent)
- Procedures Performed:
- Heart Catheterization
- Electrophysiology (EP) – Pacemaker implant
- Additional Unit Info: Primarily a Cardiac Cath Lab with low level EP procedures; assists with Interventional Radiology (IR) when needed
Required Skills & Certifications
- Certifications:
- RT (Radiologic Technologist)
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
- NH State Imaging License
- Required Skills:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Advanced Skills Preferred:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- STEMI PCI experience
- IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound) experience
- Balloon Pump
- Penumbra
Work Environment & Dress Code
- Dress Code: Hospital scrubs
