Travel RN - Operating Room (OR) - Denver, Colorado

Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)
Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Unit: OR/701 at a major medical center
Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Number of ORs: 23
Staffing: Approximately 70 staff members
Typical Day Shift Team: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Equipment: Operating Room technology, Meditech EMR system
Case Types: Elective surgical cases including Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Cardiovascular, Plastics, Gynecology, Robotics, and Urology
Environment: Teamwork-focused, elective cases only (no trauma)
Schedule: Typically 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, depending on shift

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant RN experience
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Licenses: Current Registered Nurse License
Preferred Skills: Experience in Orthopedics, Spine, and Cardiovascular procedures
