Position Details

• Patient Ratios: 6-7:1
• Shift: Variable shifts, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
• Scheduling: 3 twelve-hour shifts
• Floating Policy: Rare

Unit and Work Environment

• Unit Staffing: No unit secretaries (HUC), no tech or extra RN when no tech available
• Equipment: Standard Medical/Surgical equipment
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Patient Population: Affluent community with concierge-level service expectations
• Culture: Excellent teamwork and positive unit culture
• Recruitment Note: Vacancies due to regional recruitment challenges, not unit issues

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience caring for geriatric patients or past inpatient rehab (Swing Bed Patients)
• Advanced wound care skills
• Ability to perform minor procedures on unit

Certifications and Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Preferred
• NIH Certification - Required
• Registered Nurse License - Required

Dress Code

• Nursing uniform: All navy or navy top with white bottoms

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
