Travel RN - Cath Lab Tech

Location: Austin, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Overview

Unit: Cath Lab
Number of Labs: 3
Staffing:
- 3 staff per procedure
- Day Shift: 9 staff plus supervisor
- Night Shift: 3 person call team
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Equipment: Philips
EMR System: Meditech
Call Requirements: On call average 9 days per month
Weekends: Average 1 weekend per month

Job Description

Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Call: On call required
Typical Procedures: Standard diagnostic and complex interventional cases, high volume
Work Environment: Very busy lab with a strong sense of urgency
Dress Code: Scrubs provided by hospital

Requirements

Licenses: Registered Nurse License
Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- Cath Lab Tech Certification (ARRT or RCIS required)
Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (Cath Lab Tech)
Preferred: Candidates with 2+ years experience will be considered first

Additional Information

The unit has the 4th highest engagement score in the hospital
