Labor & Delivery Travel Nurse Opportunity

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts
Schedule: Every other weekend rotation
Shift Times: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM or 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, rotating in blocks every 2-4 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
Experience: 3-5+ years preferred
Preferred Skills: Comfortability in the OR preferred
Electronic Medical Record: EPIC required
Certifications:
- BLS (AHA)
- NRP
Vaccination: Flu vaccine required during onboarding (no declinations accepted)
Orientation: Biweekly orientation provided
Eligibility: Must have been separated from the hospital system for 6+ months (perm, per diem, contract)
Locals: Accepted

Clinical Scope

The Maternal Newborn Service provides comprehensive perinatal care including:

Prenatal evaluation of mother and fetus
Intrapartum care for labor and birth
Intraoperative and recovery care for operative deliveries
Postpartum care
Maternal/newborn care as a couplet dyad for well babies
Special care for premature and newborns requiring higher level care
