Description

Vascular Tech - Travel Position

Location: Rochester, New Hampshire
Facility Type: Hospital (70 beds)

Unit Information

Unit: Vascular Ultrasound
Staff: 1 vascular tech on day shift (40 hrs/week), no night shift
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Equipment: GE ultrasound machines
EMR System: MediTech Expanse

Required Qualifications

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification (must be registered in NH)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Medical Imaging/Radiation Therapy license for New Hampshire

Preferred Qualifications

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)

Typical Procedures

ABI (Ankle-Brachial Index)
Carotid studies
Renal studies
Aortic (AO) and Abdominal studies
Venous and Arterial studies (pTCO2 training provided)
Lower Extremity Reflux studies

Work Schedule & Environment

Day shift only
Every other weekend on-call from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Professional scrub attire required
Self-starter who can work independently and manage complex studies and schedules

Contract Length

13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Additional Notes

No floating to other areas
Must be able to work in New Hampshire with appropriate state registration
