Vascular Tech Travel Opportunity - Rochester, New Hampshire

Position Details

Specialty: Vascular Tech
Location: Rochester, NH
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Vascular Ultrasound
Hospital Size: 70 beds total
Staffing: 1 staff member on day shift (40 hours/week), no night shift
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Equipment: GE ultrasound machines
EMR System: MediTech Expanse

Required Qualifications

Licensure: Must have Medical Imaging/Radiation Therapy license and be registered in the state of New Hampshire
Certifications:
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) – required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Vascular Tech specialty (highest required)
Preferred: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification is a plus

Typical Procedures

ABI (Ankle-Brachial Index)
Carotid studies
Renal studies
Aortic and Abdominal studies
Venous and Arterial studies (pTCO2 training provided)
Lower Extremity Reflux studies

Work Schedule & Environment

Shift: Day shift only
On Call: Every other weekend, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Dress Code: Professional scrubs
Personality Fit: Self-starter, able to work independently and manage complex studies and schedules
Floating: None
