MRI Technologist Travel Position

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Replacing existing staff member
• Locals within 75 miles accepted at a lower rate
• All time off requests must be submitted upfront
• Shift: 8-hour evening shifts, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
• 2nd shift with varying start times between 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
• Every 4th weekend rotation, holidays, and on-call as needed
• Patient ratio: 1 technologist to 1 patient
• Patient types: Adult patients including ER, inpatients, and outpatients
• Preferred experience with Cardiac MRIs and Functional MRIs
• Experience with either GE or Siemens MRI systems considered
• Previous travel experience highly preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• ARRT (R) (MRI) advanced certification required at submission
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Active Connecticut state license not required at submission but must be obtained before start
• BLS certification required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required; medical and religious exemptions allowed
• Mandatory overtime as part of unit staffing rotation to ensure coverage
