Description

Travel RN – Operating Room

Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Operating Room RN
Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Saturday rotation every 6 weeks
Call Requirements: At least 40 hours per 6 weeks
Number of Openings: 1
Unit Beds: 31 OR beds
Patient Ratio: 1:1
EMR System: Cerner
Equipment: Mako Robot, DaVinci SP & XI Robots, O-Arm, Rosa Robot

Requirements

Certifications: BLS, NIH, Kentucky RN License
Experience: Minimum 2 years in operating room; travel experience required
Preferred Experience: 3+ years OR experience with strong skills in high acuity surgical patients
Float Requirements: Must stay within the OR unit

Patient Population

Neuro (spine/cranial, navigation)
Orthopedics (including robotics/arthroscopic)
Thoracic and vascular (complex cases)
Transplant patients
ENT / Radical neck procedures (complex)

Very flexible and adaptable
Willingness to learn and take on various tasks
Positive, can-do attitude
Open to expanding knowledge and moving across service lines

Scrubs provided by facility
