Registered Nurse (RN) - Glendale, Arizona (Temp)

Job Details

Key Requirements

  • Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver’s license will NOT be considered (a copy of the driver’s license must be included in submission).
  • Minimum 24 months of current Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience is required.
  • Certifications must be from American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross, active at time of submission and included in submission.
  • No license hits allowed.
  • Must have an active Arizona nursing license at time of submission (verification must be less than 30 days old).
  • Travel experience preferred.
  • Flu vaccination is required; declinations can be applied for (vaccination status must be noted in submission).
  • Return to Office (RTO) requests:
    • Will not be approved within the first week of assignment or during holidays.
    • Cannot exceed 7 days.
  • Must comply with specific background requirements as outlined by the client.
  • Submission must include:
    • Fully completed Banner Cover Page.
    • Resume listing all facilities, facility size, beds, trauma level, and units worked.
    • Skills checklist specific to the discipline (must be less than 1 year old).
    • Driver’s license copy.

Required Certifications

  • ACLS (AHA)
  • BLS (AHA)

License Information

  • Must hold an active Arizona nursing license.
  • Compact license holders are allowed but must have an active Arizona license at submission.

Facility Overview

  • Acute-care facility with a recent $290 million expansion including:
    • New patient/family library
    • Heart and vascular center
    • State-of-the-art surgical suites
    • 200-bed patient tower with all-private rooms
    • New Emergency Department
  • Designated as a Level I Adult Trauma Center for patients 15 and older, capable of providing comprehensive trauma care.

Additional Notes

  • Learning modules must be completed prior to assignment start.
  • Non-billable hours are adjusted to 16 hours per assignment.
  • Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty.
