Registered Nurse (RN) - Glendale, Arizona (Temp Contract)
Job Overview

Key Requirements
Licensing:
- Active Arizona RN license required at time of submission
- License verification must be less than 30 days old
- No license hits allowed
- Compact license allowed but must be active in Arizona
Experience:
- Minimum 24 months of current ICU experience (required)
- Travel nursing experience preferred
Certifications:
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross certifications required and must be active at submission
- Required certifications include:
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
Vaccinations:
- Flu vaccination required; declinations accepted with proper forms
- Vaccination status must be included in submission notes
Background & Compliance:
- Must meet specific background requirements and attest to compliance immediately
- Return to Office (RTO) requests:
- Not approved during first week or holidays
- Cannot exceed 7 days
Submission Requirements
- Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver’s license will not be considered
- Include a copy of driver’s license in submission
- Fully completed Banner Cover Page
- Resume listing all facilities, facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units worked in
- Skills checklist specific to nursing discipline (must be less than 1 year old)
- Certifications and license documentation included and current
- Flu vaccination status noted
- Candidates must be pre-closed and ready to accept the assignment
- List all locations and shifts the candidate is willing to work
- List all departments the candidate is willing to work in
Facility Highlights
- Acute-care facility with 890,000 sq. ft. on 33 acres
- Recently expanded with a new 200-bed patient tower, state-of-the-art surgical suites, heart and vascular center, and patient/family library
- Level I Adult Trauma Center designation (patients 15 and older)
- Provides comprehensive trauma care including severe injuries such as car crashes, gunshot wounds, stab wounds, and traumatic brain injuries
Additional Notes
- Learning modules must be completed prior to assignment start
- Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment
- Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty
This position is ideal for experienced ICU RNs who meet strict licensing, certification, and compliance requirements and are open to working in multiple departments and shifts within the facility.
