Travel RN - BMT ICU

Location: Denver, Colorado
Unit: Blood & Marrow Transplant (BMT) ICU
Facility Type: Large Blood & Marrow Transplant center, leader in CAR-T research

Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM (Night Shift)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Beds: 37
Staff: 82 nurses, 7 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
Night Shift Staffing: 1 charge nurse, 15-16 nurses
Patient Ratio: 3:1
Equipment: Alaris Pumps
EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Oncology experience
ACLS certification
Registered Nurse License
BLS and NIH Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Chemotherapy Certification
BMTCN and/or OCN certification

Typical Procedures

Chemotherapy administration
Neutropenic fever protocols (including blood culture draws and IV medications)
