Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Weekend and holiday rotation
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)

Unit Details

• No Telemetry Technicians on unit; RNs must independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Testing required prior to assignment: Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions)

  • Testing administered via Zoom within 72 hours of confirmation
  • Must pass with 85% or higher; no retakes allowed
  • Study guide provided for preparation

Patient Population

• Neurological, Orthopedic, Respiratory, Renal, Cardiac patients

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent acute Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
• Current Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
• CPR and ACLS certification required
• EMR experience required; Epic experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers accepted)
• Previous travel, permanent, or per diem employment with this health system within the last 6 months disqualifies candidate (6-month separation required)

Additional Notes

• Start date: November 25 only
• No Christmas time off approved
• All requests for time off must be submitted at time of application
