Job Details

• Location: Springfield, VT
• Facility Type: 25-bed critical access hospital
• Unit: Adaptive Acuity Unit (includes occasional PCU care at 3:1 ratio)
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of current med-surg/telemetry experience
• Charge nurse experience required (must be willing and able to work charge shifts)
• PCU experience strongly required
• Drip medication experience required
• ICU experience strongly preferred
• Must be willing to float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice
• Minimum 3 months previous travel experience required (non-negotiable; more preferred)
• Small critical access facility experience preferred
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• Permanent address and any/all requested time off (RTO) must be included in profile
• Scheduling requests must be made at time of submission; no scheduling changes after offer

Certifications & Licenses

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• Current Vermont RN license

• Springfield Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering 24-hour emergency care, general surgery, hospitalist program, and comprehensive inpatient/outpatient services.
• Specialty services include ENT, orthopaedics, sports medicine, cosmetic & reconstructive surgery, urology, psychiatry, cardiology, medical oncology, and infusion services.
• Psychiatric inpatient services are offered at a nearby 10-bed facility.

Note: Holiday time off requests will not be considered; all available holiday time has been reserved. Overtime is paid at regular rate with no multiplier.
