Registered Nurse (RN) - Contract Position

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the patient care team responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas. Responsibilities include:

• Assessing patients upon admission using interview techniques to gather past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests.
• Participating in the planning and implementation of written care plans under physician direction.

Requirements

Education & Certification

• Bachelor's degree required
• Valid State of New Hampshire RN license or Compact License
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience preferred
• Strong Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry (Tele) experience required

Skills

• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Additional Information

• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract
