Description

Progressive Care Travel Nurse Opportunity

Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Job Details

Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights) in 4-week blocks:
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Every other weekend required:
- Day shifts weekends: Saturday and Sunday
- Night shifts weekends: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Patient ratios between 1:3 and 1:5
Floating expected to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units in 4-hour blocks (floating every 4 hours is rare but possible)
Weekly start dates on Mondays

Requirements

Epic experience required
Ability to titrate pressors
BLS (AHA) required
ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS preferred
Level 1 trauma experience preferred; required if no prior travel experience
Must be separated from the hospital system for at least 6 months (any employment type)
Day one pass/fail testing will be administered (Relias practice tests available)
No Christmas time off will be approved

This role is suited for experienced progressive care nurses comfortable with rotating shifts, floating, and working in a high-acuity environment with trauma exposure.
