Travel RN Opportunity – Neuro Intervention & Interventional Radiology

Location: Arlington, Texas
Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit Information

Unit: Interventional Radiology (IR RN / 727)
Location: 1st Floor, Main Hospital
Number of Beds: 0
Staffing: 7 total staff
- Day Shift: 3 RNs, 2 Techs (example: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters)
- Night Shift: On call only
Patient Ratios: Not specified
Equipment: CT, Ultrasound, IR and Cath labs
EMR: Yes
On Call Requirement: On call 7 days a week, shared among staff
Floating: No floating requirements

Job Requirements & Skills

Must Have:
- Experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) lab
- Ability to scrub and circulate as an RN in IR setting
Preferred:
- Candidates with additional IR skills will be prioritized
Typical Procedures:
- All types of Cath lab and IR cases
- CT-guided biopsies and drainages
- Ultrasound-guided biopsies and drainages

Certifications & Licenses

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Registered Nurse License (valid in Texas)

Additional Notes

Best personality fit: Team-oriented and adaptable to a fast-paced IR environment
No floating requirements, but on-call coverage is mandatory and shared among staff
Unit policies and guidelines are available upon hire
