Travel Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) - Pennsylvania, Kingston

Position Details

Specialty: Operating Room RN

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift Options:
- 8-hour days (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM)
- 10-hour days (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Call Requirement: 1 call every 6 days, including weekends
Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 2:1
Unit Beds: 13
EMR System: Cerner
Scrub Color: Blue

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience
At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
BLS certification required
Floating required to pre-op and endoscopy units

Job Description

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR technicians, and other staff to provide patient care in the operating room.
Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN guidelines, and hospital policies.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring supplies are available
- Managing case timeliness
- Communicating with patient families
- Updating physician preference cards
- Scrubbing and assisting during surgeries
- Supervising personnel delivering patient care

48-hour shift guarantees may be requested
