Description

Job Opportunity: CVICU Nurse (Travel)

Specialty: CVICU / CCU
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Key Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
Shift: 12-hour rotating or 12-hour nights (to be discussed during interview)
Location: Based in CCU with float to CVICU
Experience Required:
- Strong cardiac experience (surgical or medical)
- Expertise with PA lines and transvenous pacing
- Preference for experience with Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) devices such as IABP and Impella
Licensing: MA RN license required at time of submission
Certifications: CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA required
Travel Restrictions:
- No local travelers accepted (cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility)
- Travelers who have worked as permanent staff at this health system within the last 6 months are not eligible
Orientation: Weekly, every Monday (except holidays)
Additional Notes:
- All return-to-office (RTO) requests must be presented at time of submission
- Parking may cost up to $43/day

This position is ideal for experienced CVICU/CCU nurses with strong cardiac skills looking for a travel assignment with a reputable health system.
