Job Opportunity Summary for Healthcare Workers / Recruiters

Position Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
• Shift Details:

  • 36 hours per week, day/night rotating shifts
  • Every other weekend required
  • 12-hour rotating shifts
• Unit: Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)

  • 8-bed unit
  • Patient types include transplant, hepatobiliary, general surgery
  • Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3
• Experience Required:

  • 2-3 years related work experience
  • SICU and Trauma/Level 1 Trauma experience mandatory
  • CPR-AHA ACLS certification required
• Technical Skills: Epic electronic health record experience required
• Location Restriction: No local travelers accepted (cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility)
• Orientation: Weekly on Mondays (except holidays)
• Start Date: ASAP, with 4 weeks lead time for compliance
• Additional Notes:

  • Travelers who have worked as permanent staff at this health system within the last 6 months are not eligible
  • All requests for time off must be submitted at time of application
  • Parking costs can be up to $43/day
