Job Opportunity: SICU Travel Nurse

Location:

• Facility: 8-bed Surgical ICU unit
• Patient Population: Surgical patients including transplant, hepatobiliary, general surgery
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:1 to 1:3

Employment Type:

• Travel Nurse

Contract Length:

• 13 weeks

Shift Details:

• 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night)
• Every other weekend required
• 36 hours per week guaranteed (biweekly 72 hours guaranteed, excluding on-call)

Experience & Certifications Required:

• 2-3 years related SICU experience
• Trauma/Level 1 Trauma experience required
• CPR, AHA ACLS certification required
• Epic electronic health record experience required

Additional Requirements:

• No local travelers accepted (must live more than 50 miles from the facility)
• Orientation held weekly on Mondays (except holidays)
• Previous permanent employees at this health system within the last 6 months are not eligible

Start Date:

• ASAP, with 4 weeks lead time for compliance

• Parking may cost up to $43/day
