• Facility Type: Community hospital with busy Emergency Department, Operating Room, and outpatient services

• Work Environment: Fast-paced, patient-centered care

• Shifts: 40 hours per week, day shifts only
• Floating: Not required

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technician
• Must be able to assist physician as scrub Radiology Technician (RT)
• Required Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification

Required Credentials & Health Compliance (Must be completed prior to or at onboarding)

Licenses & Certifications

• ARRT Certification (required)
• Professional license verification with primary source verification (no MA conditional licenses accepted)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• N95 Fit Test (within 365 days, updated annually; no religious exemptions)
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or proof of immunity
• Influenza vaccine during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed
• TB Test (skin test or blood test within 3 months, updated if >6 month break)
• Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days, updated if >6 month break
• Hepatitis B vaccine or immunity proof (strongly preferred)
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years (preferred)
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (if fit test required)
• Positive PPD with negative chest X-ray documentation (if applicable)

Background & Professional Checks

• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
• National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start and annually
• Social Security Number trace for past 7 years addresses
• Education verification of highest degree or certification required for the position

• Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above in skillset)
• Skills checklist specific to the position

Additional Requirements

Summary

This is a 13-week long-term assignment for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician with ARRT certification, working 40 hours per week on day shifts in a busy community hospital setting. The role requires assisting physicians as a scrub RT with no floating or rotating shifts. Comprehensive health, immunization, and background checks are mandatory prior to onboarding. Call is optional.
