Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Overland Park, Kansas

Position Overview

Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: NICU Level 3+
Staffing: 4-5 Respiratory Therapists per shift (Day and Night shifts include RRT and CRT)
Equipment: V60, EV300, GE, Servo, Drager ventilators, AIRVO HFNC
EMR System: Meditech

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (higher value from description)
At least 1 year acute care hospital experience
Minimum 6 months NICU Level 3+ experience with Oscillators and Nitric Oxide
Experience with ventilators and pediatric patients preferred
Experience with NAVA ventilation, Draeger, Servo, and Hamilton ventilators is a plus
Skills include breathing treatments, ventilator management (invasive and non-invasive), intubation assistance, oxygen management, and ABG analysis

Certifications & Licenses

Kansas State Board of Healing Arts Respiratory Therapist License
Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC)
ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS certifications required

Work Environment & Expectations

Patient-focused, detail-oriented, team player with a positive and energetic attitude
Dress code: Black scrubs
Floating to all hospital areas as needed
Weekend and holiday shifts required
On-call shifts are voluntary
