Labor & Delivery Travel Nurse Opportunity

Specialty: Labor & Delivery
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 16 weeks

Job Details

Assignment duration: 26-32 weeks
Shift: Nights primarily, with occasional day shifts for schedule/vacation coverage
Weekend Requirement: Every weekend required
Hours: 36 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Sunday, no block schedules allowed
Orientation: Bi-weekly on Mondays

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years in high-risk Labor & Delivery; first-time travelers considered if experience criteria met
Setting: Preference for candidates from large academic medical centers
EMR: EPIC experience within the past 2 years is mandatory
Work History: Complete work history required including bed count, EMR, and facility type; all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
Transportation: Reliable personal or rental vehicle required; public transportation is not accessible
Vehicle: Must have all-season or snow tires from November through April

Flexibility with schedule is essential
No block scheduling allowed
Weekend work is mandatory
