CVOR Travel Opportunity

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
• Must scrub cardiac and/or vascular cases as a priority
• Cases include:

  • Cardiac surgery and cardiac transplant surgery
  • Valve replacement experience required
  • Open vascular/endovascular surgery
  • Thoracic surgery and thoracic robotics
  • General surgery

Schedule

• Primary shift: 4-10 hour shifts, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM
• Wednesday shift: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, rotating to 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• One weekend per month required
• Call schedule:

  • Friday 7 PM – Monday 7 AM (30-minute response time)
  • One 2-hour CVI short call shift once a week (5:15 PM – 7:15 PM or 6 PM – 8 PM on Wednesday)
  • One CVI call night per week (7 PM or 7:30 PM – 6:45 AM/7 AM)
• Eligible to work holidays during contract

Requirements

• National certification (NBSTSA) required
• Minimum 2+ years related CVOR experience
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Basic computer skills, including navigating web-based applications
• Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred
• No local travelers accepted (must live more than 50 miles from facility)
• Must not have worked at this facility in any capacity within the last 6 months

• Orientation held weekly on Mondays (except holidays)
