Job Opportunity: MRI Tech - Travel Position

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel

Facility Overview

Large hospital licensed for 815 beds
Recognized nationally for clinical quality and patient safety
Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, Level III neonatal ICU
Regional referral center with specialized pediatric services
Busy robotic surgery program and exclusive open heart/interventional cardiology services in the region

Unit Information

Unit: MISM 734118
Location: 222 Asheland Ave, Asheville, NC 28801, Floor 1
Staff: 9 total
Equipment: GE MRI machines
EMR System: Cerner

Job Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Coverage: Day shift primarily (example staffing: 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters)
Patient Ratios: Not specified
Typical Procedures: MRI with contrast and non-contrast
Dress Code: Black scrubs
Weekend and On-call: Rotating weekends required

Required Qualifications

MRI Registered (ARRT MR Certification required)
BLS Certification required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Breast MRI

Additional Notes

Candidates without MRI registration and required certifications will not be considered
Unit policies and guidelines available upon request
