Travel RN - Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Davie, Florida
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab (Diagnostic only)
Number of Labs: 1
Staffing: 4 nurses, 1 Radiology Tech (day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Equipment: GE
EMR System: Meditech
Call Requirements: Rotating call for Interventional Radiology only; Cath Lab is diagnostic only

Typical Procedures

Cardiac Catheterization (diagnostic)
Interventional Radiology (all areas except neuro)

Requirements

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) with Cardiac Cath & Interventional Radiology experience
Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Licenses: Valid Registered Nurse License

Additional Preferences

Critical thinker
Sense of humor
Ability to function well independently
Adaptability to a fast-paced unit

Work Environment

Scrub color: OR scrubs provided (lab is within OR boundary)
Brand new facility, open less than one year
Growing cath volumes aiming for 300 cases for level II
