Description

Pediatric Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist

Location: Peoria, Illinois
Specialty: Pediatric Rehabilitation (Outpatient)

Job Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Patient Load: 6 to 9 patients per day
Patient Population: Sensory processing disorder, autism, fine motor delay, developmental delay
Setting: Outpatient pediatrics only
Experience Required: Pediatric experience required
Certifications: BLS required
EMR System: Epic
Rehab Aides/COTAs: Not staffed
Shifts: 8-hour shifts starting at 8 AM
Scheduling: Patient access team manages schedules based on therapist’s plan of care
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: None
Dress Code: Business casual or scrubs (black, gray, khaki)
Orientation: 1-2 weeks with preceptor, includes one day of Epic training and shadowing

Additional Notes

Must have an active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has started
Drug-free campus; negative drug screen required for all panels
Local placements accepted within a 50-mile radius
Orientation hours (12 hours) are non-billable and guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
Call off policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or payback required
