Travel RN Opportunity – Labor & Delivery / Antepartum

Location: Dallas, Texas
Unit: Antepartum (19 beds)
Shift: Weekend every other weekend, 36 guaranteed hours
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Must have Labor & Delivery (L&D) or Antepartum experience with at least 2 years of hospital experience in high-risk obstetrics
• Experience with high acuity patients preferred
• Patient ratio: 1:5
• Documentation systems: Meditech & CPIN (primary)
• Floating as needed
• Newly renovated Women’s Services Unit

Required Certifications & Skills

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification
• High Risk Obstetrical Experience (L&D or Antepartum)
• Experience managing magnesium sulfate and preterm labor

Preferred Skills

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• RNC (Registered Nurse Certification)
• Meditech experience

Dress Code & Appearance

• Blue insignia scrubs required
• Clean, healthy nails; no artificial or gel nails
• Hair neat and clean; pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
• Tattoos should be covered when possible
• No visible piercings other than ears (e.g., no nose or tongue rings)
