Travel RN Opportunity – Labor & Delivery / Antepartum
Location: Dallas, Texas
Unit: Antepartum (19 beds)
Shift: Weekend every other weekend, 36 guaranteed hours
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Must have Labor & Delivery (L&D) or Antepartum experience with at least 2 years of hospital experience in high-risk obstetrics
- Experience with high acuity patients preferred
- Patient ratio: 1:5
- Documentation systems: Meditech & CPIN (primary)
- Floating as needed
- Newly renovated Women’s Services Unit
Required Certifications & Skills
- Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification
- High Risk Obstetrical Experience (L&D or Antepartum)
- Experience managing magnesium sulfate and preterm labor
Preferred Skills
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- RNC (Registered Nurse Certification)
- Meditech experience
Dress Code & Appearance
- Blue insignia scrubs required
- Clean, healthy nails; no artificial or gel nails
- Hair neat and clean; pulled back if shoulder length or longer
- Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
- Tattoos should be covered when possible
- No visible piercings other than ears (e.g., no nose or tongue rings)

- No call requirements
- Scheduling to fill vacancies; holiday requirements discussed during interview
- Company-wide attendance policy applies
- Unit recently renovated with updated Women’s Services facilities
