Description

Travel RN - Critical Care/ICU

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Critical Care/ICU
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday days)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Shift Hours: 24 hours every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Must float to all step-down units, Telemetry, and other ICU level units

Experience & Certifications

Required Years of Experience: 5 years in Critical Care/ICU
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Required Skills:
- Titration of medications
- Ability to interpret ECG
- Management of ventilated patients
Preferred Experience: Prior ICU experience
Equipment Experience: Ventilator management required

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 16
Patient Ratios: 1:2
Type of Patients: Cardiogenic shock, respiratory failure, renal failure, post-PCI
EMR System: Epic

Work Environment & Dress Code

Personality Fit: Team-oriented
Scrub Color: Navy
Unacceptable Attire: Fleece, hoodies; top must be navy and nursing-related

Additional Information

Educational modules must be completed prior to starting on the floor.
