Registered Nurse (RN) - Temp Position

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Must be comfortable caring for 5-7 patients (Nurse:Patient ratio info encouraged on work history).
• Experience required in Med Surg, Post Op, or Stepdown units.
• Surgical and post-op surgical experience preferred.
• Local travelers are not accepted; candidates must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility.

Work Schedule & Requirements

• Night shift (NBO): 16 hours.
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving).
• Limit of 1 day off request between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.
• Billable overtime applies after 36-40 hours/week depending on shift.

Certifications Required

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

Licensing Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required at time of submission.
• Active Iowa RN license also required. If Iowa license is not active, proof of application for Iowa single state license or compact RN license must be provided.
• Compact license allowed.

Submission Requirements

• Work history/resume.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
• License verification.
• Copy of required certifications.
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
• Proof of taxable address (one of the following):

  • Driver’s License
  • Current Utility Bill
  • Lease/Rental Agreement
  • Mortgage Statement/Bill
  • Homeowner’s or Renter’s Insurance Statement/Bill
  • Voter Registration
  • Bank Statement
  • Auto Insurance
  • Tax Return
