Job Opportunity: Telemetry Nurse (12-Hour Night Shift)

Location

• Massachusetts (specific city not provided)

Unit Description

• 2 East: 49-bed general medical/surgical telemetry unit
• Patient population: Adult and geriatric patients with a wide variety of acute conditions and multiple comorbidities

Shift Details

• 12-hour night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN license (must have at time of submission)
• Current Telemetry experience
• Med Surg experience preferred
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current AHABLS certification required
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR
• Effective communication and time management skills
• No local travelers accepted (cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility)
• Must not have worked for this hospital system as permanent or per diem staff within the last 6 months (6-month separation required)

Additional Information

• PASS/FAIL testing required prior to acceptance: ECG/Telemetry test and Medication test (one-time exam, proctored via Zoom, to be scheduled within 48 hours of tentative offer)
• Orientation occurs biweekly
• Start date: ASAP, with at least 4 weeks lead time before start
• All return-to-office (RTO) requests must be presented at time of submission
