Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - Travel Position

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Specialty: CST/ORT (Certified Surgical Technologist / Operating Room Technician)
• Employment Type: Travel
• Facility Type: Large hospital with 815 beds, Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit, and pediatric emergency services
• Scheduling: Variable schedule with call required
• Floating: May float to other departments
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Scrubs provided by facility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CST/ORT specialty
• Must have a score of 3 or higher on Skills Checklist for Neuro, Ortho, and Vascular procedures
• Broad surgical knowledge with experience in multiple service lines including:

  • General surgery
  • Gynecology (GYN)
  • Robotics
  • Neurosurgery
  • Orthopedics
  • Plastic surgery
  • Urology
  • Burn and trauma surgery
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required
