Travel RN Opportunity - Interventional Radiology (IR)

Location: Arlington, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Interventional Radiology (IR RN / 728)
Location: 1st Floor, Main Hospital
Number of Beds: 0
Number of Staff: 7
Staff Composition (Day Shift): 3 RNs, 2 Techs (example: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters)
Night Shift: On call only
Patient Ratios: Not specified
Equipment: CT, Ultrasound, IR and Cath labs
EMR System: Yes
On Call Requirement: On call 7 days a week, shared among staff
Floating Requirement: None

Required Skills and Experience

Must Have:
- IR Lab experience
- Experience scrubbing and circulating as an RN in an IR setting
Preferred:
- Candidates with additional IR-related skills will be prioritized

Typical Procedures

All types of Cath lab and IR cases
CT-guided biopsies and drainages
Ultrasound-guided biopsies and drainages

Additional Notes

Best personality fit: Collaborative and adaptable to a specialized IR environment
