• Weekend Hours: Call only
• Call Requirements: 7 days on, 7 days off

Facility & Unit Profile

• Unit: CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
• Trauma Level: Level III
• Number of Beds: 4 CVOR beds
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric
• Equipment Used: Heart/lung machine, cellsaver, Doppler, TEE
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Meditech ORM

Role & Requirements

• Role: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Number of Openings: 2
• Required Certifications: CST Certification
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years total; must have at least 1 year CVOR experience (Cardiac AND Vascular)
• Preferred Experience: Multi-year vascular and CVOR experience
• Required Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (AND)
• Float Requirements: None

Skills & Experience

• Must Have: 1 year CVOR experience including both cardiac and vascular cases
• Preferred: Extensive vascular and CVOR experience
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments Encountered: Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD), Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Valvular Disease
