Travel RN Opportunity – Med Surg/Tele 5C Unit

Location: Austin, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
Call Requirements: No call required
Weekends: 4 shifts per schedule

Unit Type: Neuro Medical/Surgical
Number of Beds: 30
Number of Staff: 60
Staffing (Day Shift): 1 CNC, 3 RNs, 3 LVNs, 3 PCTs, 1 UC
Staffing (Night Shift): 1 CNC, 3 RNs, 3 LVNs, 3 PCTs
Patient Ratio: 1:5

- Computers on Wheels (COWs)

- PCA Pumps

Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Required Skills and Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
IV Certification for LVNs
NIH Stroke Scale certification

Preferred:

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
