Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position
Location: York, Pennsylvania
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule & Work Hours
- 4x10-hour shifts between 6 AM - 7 PM
- Weekends as needed
- Must be available to stay until the last patient is cared for
- No call required
- No holiday shifts required
- Floating as needed
Unit Information
Invasive Cardiology Unit
- 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs
- 3 dedicated Electrophysiology labs
- 2 shared cath/EP labs
- 33 prep/recovery bays
- Performs over 6,000 procedures annually
- Advanced cardiovascular treatments including:
- Complex coronary procedures
- Ventricular assist device (VAD)/ECMO
- Structural heart procedures (TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping)
- Complex atrial and ventricular ablations
- Pacemaker/ICD implant & explant
- Cardioversion
- Pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation
- Peripheral intervention
- Pulmonary embolectomy procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Certifications: ACLS & BLS required
- EPIC experience required
- Return to Office (RTO) max 7 days
- May care for COVID patients
- Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
Background Checks
- 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
- PA FBI Fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; must be on file within first 45 days of assignment
- Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search required within 1 year of start; must be finalized prior to start
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Search required within 5 years of start; results must be on file within first 45 days of assignment
Certifications
- ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted)
- BLS (AHA or ARC accepted)
- Other certifications as applicable (PALS, NRP, TNCC, NIH Stroke Certification, etc.) based on unit/job description
- State License verification (primary source online verification)
- NURSYS verification for RN, LPN/LVN, AP
Competency Exams
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (pass/fail) required for all RNs except OR and Home Health
Health Documents
- Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start
- Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days of start; PPD not accepted
- Immunizations or positive titers for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (positive titer or full vaccine series)
- Varicella
- Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year of start (Aya requirement only)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or valid medical/religious exemption required annually during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccine, medical/religious exemption, or declination accepted
- Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year of start, renewed annually
Facility Specific Documents
- Passport-style photo for badge (professional appearance, solid light background)
- Medical Statement Non-Employee Ability to Work form (preferred, required within 90 days of start)
- Review and sign:
- Commitment to Health & Wellness
- Code of Conduct
- Confidentiality Agreement
- Non-Employee Affidavit
- Completion of WellSpan Learning Management System (LMS) modules required for RNs and CNAs before start date
- New Hire Orientation required by end of first day
History & Verification
- 2 professional references within 3 years
- Most recent resume/application required
- Annual skills checklist
- Performance evaluations completed onsite during assignment
Additional Notes
- Candidate will be clinically screened and interviewed by the manager before final decision
- Floating and weekend shifts as needed
- Must comply with tobacco and fragrance-free policy
- May care for COVID patients
