Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

Job Description
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization lab procedures (CCL) including peripheral procedures.
- Must be able to perform all cardiac cath lab procedures as a Cardiac Cath Tech.
- Experience required in both Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath labs.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required.
- EP (Electrophysiology) experience is a plus.
- Shift options:
- 07:30 to 16:00
- 08:30 to 17:00 (late shift to complete cases)
- Potential floating to a nearby facility (Cedar Crest).
- Weekend requirement: May need to cover call vacancies as needed.
- Charting system used: Epic.
- Scrubs provided.
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA certified required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA certified required.
- CCI RCIS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist).
Required Background Checks & Compliance
- Comprehensive background check covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years (including SSN trace, counties, states, nationwide criminal search, sex offender search, DMV if applicable, education verification).
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check upon hire.
- HHS/OIG check upon hire.
- Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Fingerprinting results required within 90 days of start (all pages must be submitted).
- Education verification for highest level relevant to specialty.
- Pennsylvania State-specific searches including Child Abuse Search, PATCH Search, Medicheck Search within required timeframes.
Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 2 months of start.
- Fit test questionnaire and fit mask test (not required for 100% remote non-clinical roles).
- Immunizations and titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years.
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray (QGold or T-Spot within 90 days or 2 PPDs with one within 90 days).
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required.
- Hepatitis B: Positive antibody titer or completed vaccine series required (declinations not accepted).
- Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required.
- Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start (9-panel without THC also acceptable). Dilute results require observed drug screen within 24 hours if allowed by state.
- COVID-19 vaccination or signed declination with facility-specific form.
- Seasonal flu vaccination/documentation required for flu season (Oct-May) with declination allowed only under specific conditions for non-clinical or certain locations.
- Respirator medical clearance required annually for respirator use starting 04/07/2025.
Competency & Testing Requirements
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (for RNs) with passing score of 80%.
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam required annually for clinical candidates (passing score 88%, max 3 attempts).
- Basic Dysrhythmia pass/fail testing required annually for clinical candidates (exceptions apply).
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual).
- National Certification/Verification prior to start and upon expiration as applicable.
Documentation & History Requirements
- Minimum 2 professional references from employment within 12 months of start.
- Complete employment application including 7 years of work history with explanations for gaps over 90 days.
- Work history verification required for non-clinical and remote candidates.
Additional Notes
- Scrubs are provided.
- Floating to other nearby facilities may be required.
- Weekend call coverage may be required.
- Charting system is Epic.
This position requires strict adherence to all background, health, certification, and competency requirements prior to and during the assignment.
