Job Opportunity: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN)

Contract Length: 4 weeks

Shift Details:

• 12-hour shifts
• Day shift: 7 AM – 7 PM
• Night shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Patient Ratios:

• Med-Surg (7 AM – 11 PM): 5:1
• Med-Surg (11 PM – 7 AM): 6:1
• Telemetry (7 AM – 11 PM): 4:1
• Telemetry (11 PM – 7 AM): 5:1

Unit Floating:

• Floating between Med-Surg and Telemetry units

Scheduling:

• Self-scheduling with oversight to balance the schedule
• Efforts made to accommodate special requests

Experience Required:

• Minimum 2+ years as a Medical-Surgical RN

Additional Information:

• Contract guarantees 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call time)
• Winter surgical needs with a hard end date of February 28
• February start only
• No separation from the hospital system required for travelers
